Excavation
After
completing the layout with our clients we begin excavation. Whether you have a new house being built or an established backyard
we will take the time to damage as little as possible and in most cases we put your established yard back together. Excavation
usually takes 2-3 days to complete depending on the site and ease of the dig.

Forming and Plumbing
When the excavation
is complete we start forming and plumbing the swimming pool. All forms are set with a laser to ensure perfect grade heights
and angles. We only use schedule 40 PVC for all plumbing lines and 90% of all lines will be 2” pipe. This guarantees
good circulation and water turn over. Once plumbing is completed the whole system is capped and tied together so it can be
pressure tested to ensure there are no leaks.
Rebar
Rebar is installed after plumbing is complete
and all of our pools are structurally engineered. Esplin Steel out of St. George installs our rebar and they are one of the
best steel companies in the state since they specialize in swimming pools and spas.

Shotcrete
Shotcrete is by
far one of the most exciting days in the construction process this is when your pool will take shape and look like a swimming
pool instead of a big hole in the backyard. The gunite crews we use are all experienced professionals who have been in the
business for over 20 years so you are in good hands. Most of the stairs, benches, and shelf’s are formed with the shotcrete
so it is really an art. The finish of the shotcrete is rough to ensure a good bond with the plaster.

Tile
After the shotcrete has cured for 7-10
days we start installing the tile. We us Master Tile products which have proven to have the highest quality and selection
for the best price. The tile is set with a special mix of thin set and a bonding agent to prevent tile from popping during
the cold winter. After all tile is set we are ready to grout and begin forming for coping.
Coping
The coping is
that cap of the pool which is usually concrete and is typically 12” – 16” wide depending on the pool. If
you have a cover with your pool the tracks will be installed and the coping will be poured on top of it to tie it into place.
Concrete coping generally has a 1” – 2” cantilever and the finish can be stamped and colored. We use only
the best concrete contractor to install our coping and pool decks since it is a very crucial part of the finished product.

Equipment
Once coping has
been installed the pool is ready for equipment. We use a complete Pentair system and we firmly stand behind their product.
Pentair is a leader in the industry for quiet pumps, digital control panels, and clean and clear water. We like to use a cartridge
filter for our filtration system and we feel it is the best option. With a cartridge filter you do not have to do any backwashing
of the filter which most people like. You simply take out the cartridges when they get full of sediment and wash them off.
We prefer to install an EZ Touch control system with a wireless remote. It is also Pentair and is a really reliable and user
friendly product.
Plaster
Well, you have
waited weeks for this day, it is time to plaster and fill the pool. The plaster is a very important part of the process since
it is the most visible part of the pool. Plaster is the waterproofer and must be applied by experienced professionals. You
can apply a white plaster or pick a color that you want. With colored plaster you will always get a marbled look after curing
which most people like. It is impossible to apply a colored plaster with no modeling or marbling so keep that in mind. The
plaster will cure for a couple hours after it is installed then we start filling the pool. The plaster continues to cure for
3-4 weeks under water during that time the plaster must be brushed to knock off the residue that comes out during the curing
process.

Cover
We only use Coverstar automatic covers
and we feel they are an excellent product. They are manufactured right here in Northern Utah so the service after installation
is excellent. You have a variety of colors to choose from so you get the look you want.
